How to get there from the city center

There are very few parking spaces outside the Kardinal Wendel Haus and we strongly recommend the use of public transport.

Underground (U-Bahn): U3, U6 (Muenchner Freiheit)
Buses: 53, 54, 142, 144 (Muenchner Freiheit)

The workshop venue is located a 5-minute walk from the underground stop Muenchner Freiheit. It is a 15 minute stroll from the main building of the University of Munich at Geschwister-Scholl Platz.

How to get there from the airport

Take metropolitan trains S1 or S8 to the city centre. Trains run approximately every ten minutes and it is a 40-minute train ride to Marienplatz. There, you change to the underground trains U3 (towards Moosach) or U6 (towards Garching Forschungszentrum)

How to get there from the main train station

Take any of the metropolitan train lines and get off two stops later at Marienplatz. There, you change to the underground trains U3 (towards Moosach) or U6 (towards Garching Forschungszentrum).
