About EBPH

Evidence-based public health is the development, implementation and evaluation of effective programmes and policies in public health through application of principles of scientific reasoning, including systematic uses of data and information systems. This idea, inspired by the concepts of evidence-based medicine is gaining momentum – nationally, as well as internationally. In the medium term, this website intends to document current developments in evidence-based public health in Germany and beyond.
